Hope that your Palm Sunday was a special one. We had an extra special fun one at First Presbyterian Church! Thank you to the Randals Family for bringing us Georgie, all the way from Montoya. There is something special about bringing one of God's creatures to church, isn't it? It took some planning, bathing and coaxing to bring Ms. Georgie into the sanctuary.

What is this day? The day God is discredited by the cross. A day of darkness and void. Only God can return from such a thing. For some insights, I've attached some book reviews from Luther Seminary about the Cross. Take a look at the one on page 4 (Between Cross and Resurrection...by Alan Lewis). Easter Sunday - Worship and Communion begins at 11:00AM. Bring your bells to ring!
Make sure you pray for:
Marie Sims - that surgery helps her legs
Bob McClelland Sr., recovering from heart surgery
Tom Anderson's daughter-in-law - severe hand injury from dog
Those in the multi-vehicle accident this past Sunday morning
Clint Sims and family in their grief
Those in fear of violence
May this be a week of hope as you contemplate God's mercies.
See you very soon!
