If you have any changes to our bulletin list, please let me know!
This week, I will be looking for a date for the next Session Meeting, and scheduling a time to give orientation to the newest of the deacons (and anyone else wanting a brush up).
Yesterday we celebrated ministry by ordaining and installing: Robin Cherry and Marge McKenzie as Elders (previously ordained), and Kenna McKenzie-Young (already ordained), Yvette McFarland and David Huffman as Deacons. Thank you all for your enthusiasm for serving God in the Church!
Calling Musicians and Readers! Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday and Easter are coming. I will be asking for people to do some readings and anyone who wishes to play/sing special music is invited on in! Palm Sunday is March 28th, Easter will be April 4th. Maundy Thursday is April 1st.
As we have hit the Turquoise level in our county, it looks like we should probably start opening up more activities in our church. Please stay tuned as our Session sorts out what our next steps will be.
I hope that you have a blessed week!
Hugs,
Rev. Amy
