The Lord be with You!
We had a lovely gathering for worship this past Sunday. It was the last Sunday before we enter into the next season of worship, which will be marked by this Sunday's special day, Transfiguration of Christ. We will also celebrate Communion this Sunday.
After the Transfiguration of Christ (Luke 9:28-36), Jesus sets his face towards Jerusalem, a journey that we all travel together through Lent towards Good Friday.
Ash Wednesday begins next week. I plan on dispensing ashes (with their permission) at the Lowe's Grocery Store in the morning and then at noon at the church.

Domestic Violence Mission
Friends, with PW's assistance, we will be purchasing enough supplies for another round of "Go Bags" for the Tucumcari Domestic Violence Program. I will be holding an assembly line project and will welcome the help of others once we've amassed the supplies.
Lent Bible Study -
I am going to try a new Lenten Bible Student Series, probably Wednesday evenings beginning March 13th at 5:30PM. I hope to have some good coffee and sandwiches to fuel our get together. What should we study? I thought we would dive into the different events of the Resurrection Story of Jesus, from each one of the Gospels. We will talk about a different story each week.
Today - Yoga meets again at noon! See you and your yoga mat in just a few hours.
