I hope that this Memorial Day Weekend was a blessed one. We give thanks for those who gave their lives for our freedoms.
I had a good trip. Thank you for the Sunday off, and special thanks to Rev. Tom for bringing the Gospel this past weekend! I heard it was well-attended, in spite of it being a holiday weekend (and the official start of summer!).
I have several pastoral care visits this week, and if you desire a visit yourself, please send me a reply to this message, or call me at 575-708-0860.
This Week:
Yoga is today in Fellowship Hall at noon.
Tomorrow and Friday from 9-10:30 Exercise, Eat and Pray
This Sunday is Communion Sunday, with Sunday School starting at 9:30AM in the Library.
Please Hold in Prayer:
Carla Sholler - awaiting an important doctor visit
Tom Anderson - chemotherapy
Wayne Huffman
Val Blanchard - praying for a liver transplant
Lou Sims - hospice care
Emmylou Harding (AnnaLee's sister) - not doing well
This week isn't a very busy one in our church, as we have been running different directions following the end of the school year! It's hard to believe that we are now looking at our summer plans coming to fruition. Time certainly moves along quickly. Don't forget that in a couple of weeks, the potluck Sunday will include a cookout in the courtyard! Hope the weather allows us to do it.
May God bless you and keep you this week. Much love,
Pastor Amy
