Dear Friends,
Greetings to you all on this lovely sunny day.
First things, I wanted to pass along to you the prayer requests made recently:
Dorothy Randals - continuing to do well at Autumn blessings
Teresa Gallegos - continues to do well after heart surgery in Lubbock; hopefully she will return to us middle of this week
Lavone Bond - is dealing with fluid in her lungs, was scary at the time. Pray please that the meds help her get rid of that fluid! Thanksgiving for Keith.
Susie Martinez - still looking for transportation, experiencing foot and back pain
Lucille Andrada - thanksgiving for a good MRI report!
Travelers
For all who are feeling separated from their loved ones
The Huffmans - general health
Ruth Johnson - for general health
Lynn Hawkins - a woman who lives on N 104, and is looking for a home in town (she has some health issues and needs to be closer!)
Persons still dealing with the recent freezing weather - here and across the nation
Those working in the healthcare world
Scientists
Persons discerning the Holy Spirit
Regarding our friend in Christ, Dorothy is still healing up and doing pretty well at Autumn Blessings. They are still locked down to visitors. Please let her know that you are thinking of her! You can send cards to:
400 Sunset Blvd,
Logan, NM 88426
And, in regards to our friend in Christ, Teresa, she is also making great strides in Lubbock after heart surgery. They started her on physical therapy almost right away. Her daughters expressed their heartfelt appreciation for our prayers. When she is discharged, I will let you know. Keep up the prayers!
Movie Suggestion: After church yesterday, Richard Randals offered a movie suggestion: "Lilies of the Field," starring Sidney Poiter. Have you seen it? What did you think? Here is a link about it at wikipedia: Lilies of the Field What movies have you seen, which you'd recommend the rest of us?
Annual Meeting: Today I will be working on how we can get the Annual Meeting underway before too long. An election of officers, at the very least, will take place either this Sunday or the next. The Book of Order is a lot more vague than it used to be about "advance notice." Once this is determined, I will get word through the prayer tree, text message and email so all get notified of the date. Thank you as always for your faithfulness.
Blessings and peace
Amy
