Greetings to you in the name of Christ!
Hope you are warm and well wherever you are, since we have a fairly cold day ahead! Hopefully we will receive some good precipitation today (we can always hope!).
This past weekend was a fun-filled one of lots of tasty foods and fellowship. Special thank yous to the hard-working crew who decorated, worked the kitchen, planned and prepared for the Valentine's Day High Tea! It was fabulous. So was the Potluck Dinner on Sunday!
No Yoga Today! Consequently, it looks like we're a little pooped for yoga, and it's super cold. So I'm cancelling it for today. We will have yoga again next Tuesday.
Presbyterian Women Lunch Meeting this Saturday: This Saturday, February 23rd, women of the church are called to our next lunch and meeting. Ladies, please bring a little something to eat and share potluck and let's imagine together the mission of PW for 2019!

Rotary Club Lobster Dinner: There are still a few tickets available for purchase to attend the Rotary Club Lobster Dinner Fundraiser (for our scholarship program). You can ask me or Marjorie McKenzie for tickets. They are $35/person. Cutoff date is February 28th! Event is at the Elks and includes a dance afterwards!
Next week: Wednesday, 2/27/19 at noon, at the Cornerstone, Dutch Treat Dames meet up. Remember, we get together on the 4th Wednesday of each month.
Did you know? Sunday, March 3rd is Communion Sunday and it is also the Transfiguration of the Lord. That day marks a change in the liturgical cycle from Ordinary Time to the season of Lent.
May this day be a great one. Blessings,
Rev. Amy
