I hope that you are all doing great this week!
We had a nice turnout for church on Sunday, and we didn't even have any supper afterwards! It is such a joy to see so many of your faces in the crowd.
This is an exciting week, because of the wedding on Saturday. Due to the preparations, we will not be able to house the yoga class in Fellowship Hall.
However, there is something fun happening on Wednesday. The Dutch Treat Dames meet for lunch at noon at the Cornerstone. Come out tomorrow at noon and we'll have some lunch together, Dutch Treat.
We had a number of prayer requests come up this weekend:
The Sieglund (sorry for the bad spelling) family in their grief
For the Randals and Riley family at the loss of Dorothy's brother
Travelers
For the many in our church suffering from ailments (there are many)
Emily - improving after surgery
Robin - broken foot
Marge - preparing for a procedure
Vicky (Lucille's daughter) - awaiting thyroid surgery
Lucille - preparing for eye surgery
Ron Wilmot - preparing for heart surgery
Will Sims - preparing for a couple of stents
Ruth Johnson - health problems
There are a lot of people connected to us with prayer needs. Please check on your neighbors with just a friendly phone call and it will make a difference!
It's amazing what a difference one person can make. I wish you all a blessed week. I'll see some of you this Wednesday for lunch and many of you this weekend.
In Christ's Service,
Rev. Amy
