We had a real nice service on Sunday, at least I hope you thought we did. We celebrated Holy Communion. We had about thirty people there, which is more than we usually have. The sermon had to do with wrestling with our fears and putting our trust in God.
Following worship, our elders had a special meeting in order to plan a very special congregational meeting at our potluck supper on September 21st. A formal meeting announcement will follow by mail and e-mail within the next 2 days. We hope to generate a lot of conversation among you in order to explore where God is leading us as a church. And as I reminded you Sunday, don’t be afraid! We all have something important to say.
Your homework this week is to listen to God and try to trust Him a little bit more.
