Dear Friends in Christ,
I cannot believe how swiftly this summer is passing by! And our church continues to open up with new activities.
Yesterday we had 14 people in church. The Time out for Teaching moment was about the Nicene Creed and why they wrote "true God from true God..." about Jesus Christ. I am attaching a little history from our Presbyterian Church (USA) Book of Confessions, along with yesterday's sermon.
Potluck Supper: This Sunday, July 18th, is the 3rd Sunday of the month. I've had a number of folks approach me this past week asking if we will be resuming our 3rd Sunday Fellowship Suppers. Therefore, I think we need to go for it, and Lucille Andrada has volunteered to host it.
Session Meeting: We rescheduled yesterday's Session meeting for Sunday the 18th, but due to the opportunity for a fellowship meal, I wish to reschedule it once more! I wish to propose 5:30 pm Wednesday, 7/21. I will be in touch with ya'll this week about that.
