Friends, if we keep on practicing common sense, observing social distancing and wearing face covering, we can continue to mitigate the virus spread, while still meeting for church. We have not yet decided to meet for potlucks and other meals, but this will be discussed at the upcoming Session meeting. We will also be planning for communion on Sunday, June 7th, but will celebrate it in such a way that we hope will be safe and healthy.
This Week:
MWF - Exercise, Eat and Pray
Tomorrow (Tuesday) - Yoga
Sunday, May 31st - tentatively scheduled Session meeting after church
Remember yesterday that I had heard places of worship are now being allowed called "essential businesses?" Here is an article from Business Insider about it: https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-declares-houses-of-worship-essential-says-hell-override-governors-2020-5
Cookbook Announcement - Kenna continues to collect your recipes and a photo of yourself (preferably!). Please email them to me at [email protected], or bring them to the church so she can incorporate them into the new edition.
I hope that you all have a joyful week. It started off with a little rain, thanks be to God!
Many hugs,
Rev. Amy
