Greetings in the name of Jesus!
We continue to collect recipes for the 2020 Cookbook. If you haven't sent in your recipes, please email or write down/drop off your recipe as soon as you possibly can.
We had a good time yesterday in worship. A whopping 22 people came, which to me is a testimony as to how much you all missed each other and being Christ's beautiful sanctuary. I thank you all for being there. And also a huge thanks to all who faithfully sent in your offerings while Church was dispatched to our homes.
Yesterday we also enjoyed some special music from Emily Priddy. It was an apt selection, recognizing the seasons of life and world events. I might add that hearing music in worship again was a blessing all around, and hearing all of you sing!
Our lives are getting back to normal, somewhat. Please remember in our gatherings we need to stay covered and make distance between us. Here is a rundown of this week's church schedule:
M-W-F - Exercise, Eat and Pray - 10 AM in the Exercise Room
Tomorrow (Tuesday) - Yoga - Noon in Fellowship Hall
This Sunday - we will have church again at 11:00AM
I hope and believe that we will be able to have church potluck next month, June 21st, so long as we are mindful of one another.
Prayers:
Families affected by COVID (including the friends and neighbors of Kenneth McKenzie, in Santa Rosa)
Those who are unemployed or having seen their hours cut
For Essential Workers, for their health and well-being
For Rebecca Bond - at the loss of her dad
Tom Anderson - having difficulty with chemo
Small business owners
Our country and the world, as we try to return to life
Friends, I hope to hear from you on what recipes you want to share in our next church cookbook. We have a number of people in our church who weren't around the last time we made the cookbook!
May the Lord bless you and keep you today!
Love,
Amy
