Yes, it's time to kick into Rummage Sale gear! As you probably know, this is a big fund raiser for our church, put on by the Presbyterian Women and we couldn't do with without the support of the men of the church, either!
Sunday after potluck we did it again! We dragged out the round tables and chairs, brought out the rectangular ones, carting out all the stuff from the Rummage Room. The Fellowship Hall is now transformed! Thank you to everyone who stayed after to help. Great job!
Right now, we need help unpacking the items and distributing them to the proper areas of the room.
I will be in the church for the entire afternoon and evening, as our Session meets at 5:30PM. You are welcome to come in and work on things while I'm there.
Yoga will not meet today because of the Rummage Sale. Please let your fellow yoga friends know who aren't on this email list. We will resume on May 10th.
Exercise, Eat and Pray will continue on its usual schedule at 9:00AM M-W-F
Saturday, April 23rd, at 10AM is the Blessing of the Animals Service. Please come and worship in the courtyard with us. You can bring your animal, if you feel it will be able to be around other creatures, and if you would keep it on a leash or contained somehow otherwise. The service will not be a long one.
At noon on Saturday, PW has a lunchtime meeting to discuss the springtime business. Come and See!
More news will come later this week after the Session meeting tonight. Enjoy this wonderful rainy weather we've gotten, and give thanks to God as we watch His earth "green up!"
