The Lord be with You:
We are in the home stretch before Christmas Day!
This morning I am awaking to that reality myself. It is full steam ahead for us as we prepare for the Christmas Eve Candlelight service.
I could use some musicians to help lead worship on the Monday evening. Please let me know in the next several days if we can work you into the service.
I am also going to reach out to many of you to help with the readings. Please keep your eyes open for emails, text messages and phone calls!
No Yoga Today: Due to the increased festivities (and I'm just a teensy bit tired), I would like to cancel today's Yoga class and of course, next week's too (as it will be Christmas Day).
Exercise, Eat and Pray will go ahead and meet at the church tomorrow at 9:00AM.
On Sunday afternoon, Anna Lee Schuster and Aimee Ross delivered the gift basket to the City Police Department. They were excited to receive it and our card saying thanks for their service. I am equally excited to report that and am proud of all of your contributions of snacks and other useful items. If we had fun with it, let's do it again next year, for more of our area First Responders!
In our Scriptures this past Sunday we heard about preparing the way of the Lord with joy, and doing so by giving gifts that share that joy. Let your joy for God's gift be an important part of your own gift giving this season. And the gifts your church give to our community come from that same joy! Share it :)
