The Lord be with you,
We had a lovely service on Sunday, along with our guests from Rick Haymaker's church, Agape. And then, thanks to all of you who helped the potluck supper happen! We sure had a feast of fellowship and treats.
If you missed it this time, I hope you'll remember to mark your calendar for December 13th, which happens to be the 3rd Sunday in Advent.
Also put on your calendar Saturday, December 12th at 10AM for a very special Community Health Talk with Cassie Huffman, a mastered counselor, who will be helping us around the issue of Depression around the Holidays. Thanks to Linda Sims for an excellent presentation about Diabetes this past Saturday!
Lots of good things are coming our way because we are getting closer to the holiday season. But if you start to feel anxious, check out Sunday's sermon. It addresses that very problem. Take time out for God this season, don't let the craziness of the season control you.
Here are some prayer requests which came up during worship:
- Cayetano Martinez in the hospital following a stroke (very young man)
- Tom Anderson - returns to Amarillo for 2nd round of chemo
- The people of Paris
- Our politicians and for US citizens in this time of turmoil
- Robert Hoefer still in recovery after hospitalization for blood clots
- Reagan Kenyon - fighting cancer, and for her parents

Today - Yoga at High Noon. Bring your mat and a towel or strap. We'll get warmed up and de-stressed.
Wednesday (tomorrow) 7:30AM - KQAY 92.7 and KTNM 1400 - I'll go on the radio to announce this Saturday's movie.
Tomorrow and Friday at 9:00 - Exercise, Eat and Pray
Tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday) - I deliver the Operation Christmas Child boxes to the Methodist Church. You have until them to get them in!
Saturday 5:30PM - Movie night! Hope you can bring a friend!
