The Lord be with You.
I pray that your Veterans' Day weekend was a good one, of peace and reverence. And, that you stayed warm yesterday!
Sunday Plans: Friends, we have a fun and interesting week ahead. A special surprise is in store for worship this weekend. And, after this Sunday's worship, we also have Fellowship Dinner. A special thank you to Kenna for agreeing to host this Sunday's meal. Bring a dish and invite a friend!
GAME NIGHT We also have a fun Friday evening planned, as there will be another GAME NIGHT. Drop by Fellowship Hall after work and we will circle up for fun. Bring your favorite game, or just get ready to play one of the cool options we already have at the church. This is not a meal. However, you're invited to bring a sack of chips or something else to share.
Yoga at noon today: Today at noon, a few of us will meet up for yoga in Fellowship Hall. Bring a mat.
Exercise, Eat and Pray: Tomorrow and Friday at 10:00AM
New Member Q&A Class: For anyone who is interested in joining the church, I will be holding the next class this Sunday at 9:30AM. Text or call me to reserve a seat! 575-708-0860. I can also visit you personally to offer the same class.

Call to all Musicians and Readers: Dear Friends in Christ, I hope that you know we will be entering the season of Advent in just a couple of weeks. It is hard to believe that this month is almost over. I will be reaching out to a number of you to see if you can read or play music in the coming weeks during December. I will also be sending out an announcement of Special Dates for our church Christmastime calendar!
Advent is a time of preparation, of decoration, but while decking the halls with holly, we also prepare the way of the Lord to our own hearts. I suppose we are also "beautifying" our souls to receive his Good News of Salvation. I find Advent to be a most wonderful and fascinating time when we can contemplate God's entry into this earthly plan, as one of us. And as one of us, God leads us to the revelation that this earthly world is to be redeemed.
May we enter this week, remembering God's grace and promise to be with us always. Have a joyful and blessed week.
Love,
Rev. Amy
