Just a little update since the "digest" sent on Sunday afternoon. I don't know what got into me, but I decided to send it Sunday instead of Tuesday. Maybe it was the amazing work being done to the church roof...or the special Sunday we spent together. Whichever it was, there is always something important to proclaim about our lives in Christ!
Here are a few prayer requests for you to lift up this week
Wayne and Sharon are getting a new house - TODAY
Lucille has medical appointment this week in Albuquerque - prayers for good results
Kay and Amber are home from the hospital - prayers that they heal up fast
Our friend Tom Dobson is in the hospital at Plains Medical (Clovis) after a minor stroke during dialysis yesterday. Depending on other medical concerns, we will know soon if he has to transfer to Lubbock.
Elmer and AnnaLee's daughter is traveling
For Jean and Tom's family who've lost two loved ones in just about a month
The Estrada family, whose 18 year old nephew, Anthony Efraim Estrada was killed in an auto accident in Amarillo
For the health of our older members
For our community recovering from the burglaries
The terrible fires in California, the people recovering from the hurricanes and tornadoes to the Southeast
Our nation
Office Equipment Theft Update: In case you've tried to call the office phone (just about all of you call me on my cell phone, though), that phone was disabled during our break in and a part was stolen. We should have service back sometime today. And...even though the Tucumcari Police Department was successful in recovering a number of stolen items, we have yet to recover the office computer equipment and the equipment stolen from the library (large flat screen monitor, laptop and webcam). So, Sharon and I are improvising the bulletins till we get new equipment.
