We are on the eve of another Election Day. I hope you have voted or will vote. 7AM-7PM at the Convention Center.
This is a weird week. I will be gone a couple of days for a birthday party in Santa Fe. I will be back in the middle of the week.

For the "least of these" in our communities
I showed a video on Sunday, since we were worshiping in Fellowship Hall. If you missed it, or would like to see it again, here it is: https://vimeo.com/380293145. It is a part of a new shift in the PC(USA) called "Matthew 25." This new shift charges all churches (or I may say "recharges") to live and serve God by the principles of mission engagement that is described quite clearly by Jesus in Matthew 25:31-46. For a quick look at this parable, often called "The Judgement of the Nations," you can click this link: Sheep and Goats
Operation Christmas Child: The shoeboxes are due back at the church on Sunday, November 8th. If you want to bring them to church on Sunday, we will bless them and I'll take them to Center Street UMC later that day after Session.
I have 3 visits lined up this week. Do you need a pastor's visit? Please call or text me and we will make time to do it.
Are you interested in doing a Bible Study with me? I am thinking of doing a quick and fun study of the Book of Revelation. If so, please let me know if you'd prefer Zoom, in person or a hybrid. We could probably do it in about 3, 1-hour sessions, with the option to do more. Don't be afraid of Revelation; it's God's Word for us.
Please help boost our Facebook page! If you're on FB and never visited our page, please do, share our posts and let the world know we are out there. A link to the page is here: 1stPresbyterianTucumcari A successful church message is one that is shared and liked by its followers.
Brothers and Sisters, it looks like we have sunny, blue skies ahead. Today is the start of the rest of your life! God is good.
Love,
Rev. Amy
