Dear Congregation:
This is a reminder that there will be a Called Presbytery Meeting in Ruidoso. All of you, not just commissioners, are strongly urged to attend. (click here for the official call) It is on Saturday, July 19th at 10:30AM at First Presbyterian Church in Ruidoso. (see their website!)
The purpose is so that the Special Administrative Commission can provide our preliminary findings following the many interviews throughout the churches and request any other input you might have. The main questions we asked were:
Speaking as a member of the Special Administrative Commission, I feel hopeful that there is a way forward for our little network of churches. Please contact me via phone/text 575-708-0860 if you wish to go and I will register you for lunch. You can also RSVP directly - by July 16th - at [email protected].
This is strictly an informational meeting and no final decisions made/no votes cast.
An additional purpose of this meeting will be to receive a report on the many decisions made during General Assembly.
