I hope you've enjoyed seeing the beautiful snow when you woke up today!
Thank goodness it didn't really stick to the roads. For that reason, our weekly calendar has not changed.
Today the yoga bunch will reconvene at noon.
Tomorrow, Friday and Monday at 9:00AM will be Exercise, Eat and Pray
I will be doing some visitation Thursday and Friday afternoons this week.
BTW - if you're looking for some really exciting basketball games, both our girls and boys varsity teams are playing for the District 5AAA championship this weekend. Girls play on Friday evening about 6:00PM. Click here for their district ranking) The boys play on Saturday at 6:00PM. Click here for their district ranking. I'll save you the trouble of clicking for links. Both our teams are ranked #1 in district!
We had a great bunch for church on Sunday and how very good and pleasant it was to break bread together at potluck. There was a special abundance of fried chicken. (and I considered picking some up on the way - glad I didn't!) I hope all of you who came became a closer friend to one another, as the sermon theme was "Framily."
Have you thought more about where God is leading you this week?
Here are a few prayer requests which have arisen since Sunday
Lucille Andrada - waiting for test results
Wayne Huffman - preparing to get a bone scan and other testing on Thursday this week, because of an elevated PSA
Tom Morris - taken to the hospital in Amarillo - I'm still trying to find out which one and why
Tom Anderson - this is chemotherapy week for him
Keep Matt Story in your prayers - dealing with a child custody issues
Please pray for our country in this election season.
Joellen - the daughter in law of the Goldstons - undergoing a medical procedure this week
PS - early voting is going on now at the courthouse for city commissioners and more. Exercise your voting right!
May God bless you and keep you this week. I hope to bump into you around town!
Much love,
Pastor Pospichal
