The Lord be with you, Friends!
I am moving a little slowly today. Our Siblings in Christ located in Clovis, New Mexico had their first Session Meeting since their minister moved away. It was a late night but a good one. If you would pray for the people of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Clovis, I would appreciate that and they would too. As you know, it is hard when a church has no pastor and their congregation is just a little smaller than theirs. Perhaps our congregations could think about ways we could share ideas and information on ways to do to outreach in our communities?
We are heading for the Annual Congregational Meeting, the last full week in January. All of you on the Church Membership Roll are empowered to nominate officers (Elder and Deacon), vote and give voice to your perspectives on the life of Christ's church. Any not on the Membership Roll but who've been a part of this church's life for so long may also have voice, although you would not have a vote. Any questions? Ask Amy at 575-708-0860. Meeting is this Sunday, January 27th before the benediction of our worship service.

Yoga today at noon! Bring a mat and let's do yoga in Fellowship Hall today.
Dutch Treat Dames tomorrow: Ladies of the Church, let'[s meet at the Cornerstone at noon and we can have lunch together, Dutch Treat.
Friday/Saturday Presbytery Meeting - Hobbs, NM: Betty Ragan and I are traveling to Hobbs, New Mexico for the Winter Presbytery meeting. Please keep our traveling and our discernment during the meeting in your prayers.
Sunday, after worship: Annual Congregational Meeting, election of officers.

I get asked regularly by people to pray for them. If you don't see yourself listed, but have asked me to hold your concern in prayer, don't worry! I am praying for you still.
For those facing a new stage of life
For those feeling distressed and disturbed
For those facing difficulties at home
For those in grief
For our neighborhoods, churches and leaders
For those who seek the truth, justice and reconciliation
For the peace of Christ, to fall afresh on us.
May the Peace of Christ, which passes all understanding, be with you all this week.
