Friends, can you believe that August is already half over?
These are exciting times. That was some lightning storm last night! God's creation is amazing. Make sure you don't miss the solar eclipse on Monday. From where we live, we will see just a partial eclipse. For more info, visit http://time.com/4884482/total-solar-eclipse-2017-map/.
Fair Booth Announcements:
Today some of us are meeting at the church to "schlep" our display over to the fairgrounds. We are meeting at the church at 5:00PM and at the fairgrounds at 5:30PM. If you want to help, please come over (either of those places). We could use your help with hanging up the booth this evening. We have about 2 hours to do this before they turn out the lights.
On Saturday at 9:00PM, we need 4-6 people to help us take it all down too. If we do it sooner, we lose our deposit. Please come and meet us there, or contact me to let me know if you're available at 575-708-0860.
The booth is going to be "manned" during Friday and Saturday. Cookie bakers, please bring your individually packaged cookies (2-3 per bag) to the booth, or if you want to drop them off with me, call or text me at 575-708-0860.
Other News:
Yoga is cancelled this week, so we have more time to get ready for the fair.
Potluck Sunday is this weekend! According to our PW calendar, Julie Sursa is this month's hostess.
Tomorrow Exercise, Eat and Pray meet at 9:00AM in the Exercise Room
Be sure you visit the fair booth this week, especially Friday and Saturday.
