Greetings! Hope your week is off to a great start!
I also hope that you had a joy-filled and fun July 4th.
Last week, we had a service in our sanctuary for Don Sieglen. It was a small but strong turnout with support to his wife and daughter. Thank you, for even though they are not members of our church, it meant a lot that we could open the church doors to welcome them in.
Today, there will be a Session meeting in the Library. An agenda will be sent by email to the Elders shortly. Therefore, I will be able to set up the yoga class, but I will not be able to participate. I'll touch base with the yoga bunch to see who can come.
Thanks to Nancy Mueller, playing the music on Sunday and to Deacon Theresa Goldston, for setting up the communion service!
After the wedding, we are finding a pattern of life. Thanks to all who have shown us so much love and support!
Prayers:
Lynn Hudson and daughter, each undergoing cancer treatment
Gloria (Teresa Brake's sister) - infections after surgery
Susie Martinez and her family - after the passing of her sister, Charlotte
People in CA - following the two earthquakes last week
Emily Priddy traveling to visit her dad (and helping him out)
Ruth Johnson (continuing health concerns)
Marjorie McKenzie - after stent placement
Ron Wilmot - following heart surgery
Sieglen family - in their grief for Don
The Morris Family
Lucille Andrada - thanksgiving for successful eye surgery; the next will be July 16th
Wayne and Sharon Huffman - for health and strength
Sonia - Betty Ragan's daughter, who is rehabilitating after a stroke
Robert Hoefer - seeking treatment in Santa Fe
I hope I remembered all of the prayer requests I have received lately. It sometimes feels like where there are a few needs, there are many. Please let me know if there are other prayer needs I have overlooked!
May you have a blessed and hope-filled day.
Much love,
Rev. Amy
