Hope you've been enjoying this recent rain! It seems like perhaps the monsoon season is finally here, and not a moment too soon.
Just in case you have missed previous announcements, the Fellowship Hall has been closed now and will be until early September (a 60-day period). It is in order to limit the possible spread of COVID19, among other things. Churches have been found to be areas of infectious outbreaks and we want to make sure that does not happen to us. So long as we worship using the precautions that we have all been hearing about, things should be fine. This does not mean we cannot do outreach or mission of any kind. It may present us with new ideas or creative means which we had never heard of before! Please let me know if you have some of those ideas.

Sidewalk Gospel: Sisters and Brothers, I have been thinking about rustling up some sidewalk chalk for any of us who might like to write some messages in front of the church. Any takers? Just let me know. I'm also looking for chalk.
Lunch with Pastor: I also would like to have lunch with at least one or two of you each week; brown-bag it or something. I can visit you at work, home, or even talk on Zoom, Facetime or Google Duo. We can talk about whatever you want. If you want your name added to that list soon, let me know.
Cancellations: It's sad to see many things have been cancelled or restricted severely during this pandemic. Out of the things we have seen cancelled this year, what was the hardest one for you to see cancelled? Quay County Fair is going virtual this year, Rawhide Days, Rockabilly, Rummage Sales, Easter...
I do hope that the rest of your week goes great! It's going to be busy here at the church, but you'll be hearing from me this week. May God be with you till we meet again.
Many hugs,
Rev. Amy
