We had a nice rain at the manse last night! Not a LOT of rain, but at least it damped down everything and gave us a good lightning show.
Sabbath at the manse was an adventure, as Russell and I have been housebreaking a couple of rescue dogs. Right now it's fun, food and recreation as they learn about house rules and get to know each other better. Bruce is getting treatment for a skin condition.
As the plumber is coming to the house today, I will not be hosting yoga at the church. He will be here for an unknown time.
As a result, I will be available mostly by phone, as the bathroom here gets work done.
Prayers:
Emily Priddy's dad
Gloria (after leg surgery)
Susie Martinez and her family in their grief for her sister
Travelers
Lynn Hudson and her daughter
Those affected by flooding, hurricanes and earthquakes
The people of Hawaii affected by fires
Our church going through changes
Ruth Johnson
Will Sims, continuing to improve
The Morris family
Friends, my hope is that you endeavor to see God's work wherever you are today. Be a blessing to someone else.
In Christ,
Rev. Amy
