Hope this week is off to a great start, as we start leaning into the Summer Solstice. We enjoyed a potluck supper together on Sunday, thanks to Wayne and Sharon's hosting and many other hands to help!

Thanksgiving but continued prayers for Dale Davis (Son in Law of the Schusters)
Prayers for peace and security for our nation
Prayers for immigrant families
Glenda's sisters, Dolores and Betty
Thanksgiving that Marie Sims is able to attend church again
For Lucille Andrada, who has an MRI next week (June 26)
Eric Rivera - healing after surgery
The rest of this month is relatively quiet and is a good time for some of us to do a little planning for the summer and fall. It's a great time to put things on the calendar, if you have a special event or church fellowship idea. Please float some ideas my way at 575-708-0860 (call or text) or send to the church email [email protected].
Here are a few things coming up so far:
Tuesdays at noon - Yoga
Wednesday, June 27th - Dutch Treat Dames noon, @ Cornerstone
Sunday, July 1st Communion Sunday (Marjorie is Deacon in charge)
Monday, July 2nd (tentative) - Green Chile Gals
Saturday, July 7th 8-9:30 @ Dunn Park - Quay County on the Move community walking event - "Walk with a Doc(tor)"
Weekend of July 8th Mecham Family Reunion (Wayne and Sharon's family); July 8th guest preacher, Rev. Patrick Mecham
Friday, July 13th - BSA Troop 13 from Little Rock, AR sleeps overnight in Fellowship Hall
August 14-18 - Quay County Fair; Session voted to have a booth again this year
Before we know it, the summer will be over! Let's imagine some ways we can reach out to our community in the midst of our other activities. May God bless you and keep you this week.
