Greetings in Christ, Friends!
We had a lovely Pentecost Sunday this past weekend. Thanks to Kenna McKenzie for being our accompanist.  God keeps on providing us music right when we need it, like manna in the wilderness.

Catch up and Coffee
I hope you can come this Sunday, May 31st.  Come early at 10:30am for coffee and fellowship time before we head over to worship.  This is just one of the things our elders decided would be a good idea to increase our friendship and fellowship.

Tangling with Ephesians
This Sunday, May 31st at 2:00PM come back after lunch for an all-church Bible Study.  We have to keep on learning and growing in Christ.  This will be just four weeks, so it's not a long commitment.  We will be exploring the letter to the Ephesians, reading it in a devotional way.  We'll learn about the history of the letter and why it is still important to us today. It is the Word made Fresh!

Recipes Wanted!
Elder Kenna McKenzie is collecting your favorite recipes for a church cookbook, which we want to sell as a fundraiser, particularly at the County Fair and elsewhere.  Please write down (or you could email, I bet) and submit your favorite recipe, or three, as soon as possible so she has time to compile and format the cookbook.  Her email is [email protected] or [email protected].

Pray for:
The Kenyon family, while they head to Lubbock today to see how their daughter is responding to chemo.
Wayne Huffman awaiting test results.
Lucille Andrada as she awaits radiation on her small tumor in her head.
For all the folks from Oklahoma and Texas feeling the brunt of heavy rains and yesterday's tornadoes.
For graduates and their future success!
For Kevin and Nancy Mueller, who are on the road right now.
For Jina Vick, who is traveling overseas.
For our church, as we weather changes.
Please respond to this message if you have prayer requests to add.

Last but not least,
I will be busy teaching a college success course starting tonight at Mesalands to new college students.  It will be from 5 to 8pm M-Th until June 19th. If it's an emergency, you are welcome to call my cell phone but I might not answer it right away. My hope is by my teaching this, it will add visibility to our church, and a little extra money for me!

Today, Tuesday:  Yoga at noon in Fellowship Hall and then the Quilters arrive.
Wednesday & Friday:  9:00AM Exercise, Eat and Pray
Sunday is our big day!  I will be doing some premarital counseling at 9:30AM, Catch up and Coffee at 10:30, Worship at 11:00, Tangling with Ephesians at 2:00PM.

May God bless you and keep you today and every day,
Love,
Pastor Amy

"But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by every ligament with which it is equipped, as each part is working properly, promotes the body’s growth in building itself up in love. Eph 4:15"
