Hope this week is off to a wonderful start, albeit a little cool outside!
This past Sunday we had a lovely little gathering of worshipers, many with their mothers and extended family. And they added to our songs of praise. The sermon was about emulating the love that God has for us, a love that is connectional, like the vine and the branches, or like a mother to her child.
This Sunday's readings can be found by clicking --> HERE. It is the last Sunday in the season of Easter, and we'll be observing the Ascension of our Lord and the Church's prayers of discernment as to what to do next. Hope to you see you there.
Sunday is also Potluck Sunday, a grand time to bring a friend, and a covered dish to share.
Exercise Eat and Pray is always M-W-F in the Exercise room at 9;30AM. All are invited.
Today at noon, we resume summer sessions of High Noon Yoga. It's a beginners' group, free to the community. Spread the word!
Wednesday is Session meeting. Please hold our Elders in prayer this week. I hope for us to explore some new things I learned at my class, and hope to implement them.
Thursday night I'll be at the City Commission meeting (they asked me to give the prayer).
Prayers Needed:
Wayne and Sharon, both looking at medical testing this week in Amarillo, for good results and for safe travels
Jenna Morris, and all students in the middle of final exams
For Ray and Rachel McKenzie and their new baby, Alden Vera
For Betty Ragan - severe shoulder pain, and her grief for Tom Carden
There may be many other prayers that you need to share with our community. Please "reply all" to do so. Or, you can also request prayers through our website http://1stpreschurchtuc.weebly.com/#/
This is the day that the Lord has made! May you find Him in it.
Blessings and peace,
Amy
