Dear Friends in Christ,
A Big Hello from Amarillo International Airport!
As I await my flight to embark on a week of Continuing Education, I wish to send you greetings in the name of Jesus Christ.
We had a lovely service of worship and a delicious spread at the potluck (thanks to Barbara Cherry and Kayla Cherry's help setting us up). After that, we bore witness to the tenacity of God's people, as we rolled away the round tables, set up the rectangular ones and pulled bags and boxes out of the Rummage Room. Special thanks to the Harts and Varsallonas and their extended family for helping us. Also, a big thanks to Wayne and Sharon Huffman, Dorothy Randals, and the Cherry Bunch again for help. If I left someone out, I expect you to let me know, please.
After that, there was a funeral service in our sanctuary for Teresa's brother, Eloy Martinez. It was a touching service, and the first time I heard a Spanish song with electric guitar! We lovingly placed his ashes in the Tucumcari cemetery just a few paces from Barbara McCausland's resting place.
We have had such a rich and busy life together recently. And for the next two weeks we will be fully engaged with rummage sale preparations. And when we are done, we shall find rest.
"How very good and pleasant it is when kindred dwell together in unity!" (Ps 133)
Friends, I look forward to seeing you when I return Saturday morning.
Starting now, the yogis and quilters get a two week break from gathering, while we prepare for the rummage sale.
Exercise, Eat and Pray continues to meet throughout that time 9-10:30ish MWF in the exercise room

- Our Tucumcari Rattlers as they get ready for prom this week. Pray that it is safe and fun (including Kayla and Jonathan).
- Betty and Teresa and their other siblings grieving Eloy, Junior and Troy
- Amber's cousin Frances, who is dealing with cancer
- The ISIS situation
- Thanks for David Huffman getting his car fixed (windows were bashed and tires slashed)
- For all who are traveling right now.
