We get to see the world a lot differently. Because of the Resurrection, we can face things with courage, even with a sense of humor.
Hopefully you can face this week with the Resurrection hope!
Just for a little help, I am including a YouTube Clip of "perfectly timed photography." God has a good sense of humor. Enjoy! https://youtu.be/mOXBuy6ll44
Rummage Sale News: We are in Week 1 of Rummage Sale Preparation. This means that the yoga group won't meet again for a while. However, the Exercise, Eat and Pray group will continue to meet at 9:00AM on Mondays and Wednesdays. We can use your help to unpack boxes and bags this week, fold and hang clothes. If you don't have a key to let yourself in, please call me at 708-0860 and we'll work together, or contact our Presbyterian Women Moderator, Julie Sursa at 461-3861. If you see cars in front, just knock on the doors.
We enjoyed a filling and fantastic potluck supper on Sunday. Thanks to all who could stay and help us arrange the tables. We needed every hand! We don't have the numbers of people able to help us like we used to, nor do we have the numbers of helpers there during the weeks of unpacking/setting up. I urge you to pitch in. This is an important year for the PW, who are rather concerned whether they can continue to sustain the physical labor of two sales a year.
Thanks to Jean and Tom for bringing some plates of Potluck dinner over to Marie Sims' house after church. Her son, Will, most certainly needed the extra home-cooked love.
