Grace and Peace, friends in Christ!
We had a beautiful service Sunday with more people in church than I'd seen in a few weeks! It was indeed a beautiful turnout.
Vote Today- If you have not already done so, remember to go by the Convention Center today before polls close. All you have to have is your driver's license. I'm heading over soon. It is a responsibility and privilege.
The Green Chile Gals will be meeting on Monday, November 12th at the Church. Let's go with a potluck approach!
Session Meeting is also next week, on Tuesday, November 13th at 5:30PM in the Library.
Yoga classes begin again on Tuesday, November 13th in Fellowship Hall.
Operation Christmas Child: This is your last week to do Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Bring your shoebox to church this Wednesday and I'll make sure they get there. If you just want to bring them anytime this week to Center Street United Methodist Church (say, during Cantata Practice) that's just fine. Please just let me know if you did, for our records!
Thank you for releasing me to spend nearly a week with my family, in celebration of my parents' 50th anniversary. It was a very special, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Their wedding anniversary is on November 1st and I have often felt that significant. Anyone willing to put up with me during my teenage years must be saints! I thank God for the example they provide me.
Aside from an appointment I have in Santa Fe, I will be in town all this week. If you are in need of a pastor visit, please let me know!
Be a Saint to someone today.
Many hugs to you all.
Pastor Amy
