I hope you are enjoying the early morning storms! What a relief it is to finally hear music of rainfall.
Today I will be in Santa Rosa with Russell for a medical appointment, and it is our last one.
Yoga is cancelled today, as the PW finishes setting up for the Rummage Sale. The sale is THIS WEEK from 9-3 on Friday and Saturday, Oct 4-5.
We will need helpers during the sale to assist people with their purchases, make change and relieve people so they can get some lunch. We especially need your help right around 2:30PM Saturday as we begin packing up the unsold items. All you have to do is just show up.
Presbytery Meeting October 11-12: We are still getting people signed up to bring food items and helping to set up for the Presbytery meeting October 11-12. I have learned that we will probably have closer to 45 people in attendance, not as many as I previously thought. We still need:
Friday Night
2 more crock pot meals to feed folks Friday night,
a couple of large salads and desserts
Saturday Morning/Lunchtime
Donuts/muffins
Fruit
deli meats and cheeses
breads for sandwiches
Lettuce, tomato and onion slices
cookies
Thank you to those who have already signed up to bring food. I will be making calls to find volunteers this week.
The month of October looks like it will be moving by very fast! I have to tell myself that if I don't slow down, I will miss the chance to enjoy fall before it turns to winter. I'm sure I'm not the only one of us who needs to hear those words. May we all remember to take time out for God and for a little rest. And enjoy that rain!
God be with you till we meet again.
Blessings
