Greetings all in Jesus Christ!
My apologies for a 12 hour delay in getting a weekly message to you. It has been a different sort of week so far, starting out with a service for our brother in Christ, Jack Dyer. We held a short service at Sunset Memorial park in Albuquerque. His family and a few close friends came. His granddaughter Val and her mom, Dorothy, planned a lovely display with photographs, his boots with a spray of purple and yellow flowers and an old Indian blanket. There will be a memorial service for Jack on August 3rd at our church. I will get you the details as we find them out. An obituary for Jack is here.
In other news, Happy Birthday to Barbara Cherry! And a Happy Birthday to Marge McKenzie, whose birthday party is this Saturday. The congregation is invited.
Please hold Lou Sims in your prayers as he gets ready for a cardiac cath procedure tomorrow. There's a chance he might need an angioplasty or stent, but we pray that all goes well.

Wednesday and Friday 9:00AM Exercise Eat and Pray.

Saturday 7/19: Marge's birthday party in Fellowship Hall
Saturday 7/19: I will have to be at a Presbytery meeting in Ruidoso (leaving the day before)
Sunday 7/20: Potluck Supper Sunday - invite all your friends!
